1968		A. STADELMANN Ltd. established by Alfred Stadelmann in Missionstrasse, Basle, starting with 3 staff.
1970		Expansion of the production workshop and move to Vogesenstrasse in Bale.
1977		Import of Nielsen aluminium picture frames direct from Townsend, Massachusetts, USA. The first to offer Nielsen aluminium in Europe.
1984		Continued growth of A STADELMANN Ltd. - now with 50 employees - and building of a new factory in Allschwil in Basle province. The warehouse together with the workshops for the skilled workforce increase to 2,000 sq.m. (20,000 sq. ft.).
1987		Import of Denglas from the USA. First in Europe to offer Denglas non- reflective museum quality glass.
1991		Further expansion by adding a fourth storey to the factory building.
1998		Supplier of art prints and postcards for the important “Wrapped Trees” project of Christo and Jean-Claude at the Beyeler Foundation, Berower Park in Riehen near Basle.
1999		Distribution of posters from UP Universal-Prints GmbH.
2000		The complete range of mountboards from Nielsen-Bainbridge is added to the range.
2005		Appointed exclusive distributor in Switzerland of FLABEG ArtControl coated picture glass.
2006		Lucas Stadelmann appointed as director of the company.
2008		Appointed exclusive distributor in Switzerland of the new Claryl picture glass, and … the Stadelmann company is 40 years old!
